Our volunteers socialize and exercise the dogs and socialize and groom the cats. We have several certified dog trainers that work with the dogs in teaching basic obedience.
Our volunteers hold fundraisers to provide the shelter animals with things like flea and tic medications and comfortable beds.
The volunteers also attend local fairs, festivals, and events to promote the adoption of animals from the shelter.
We also try to educate the community about spaying/neutering their pets, and have programs in place to help.
One of our goals is to provide low cost spay/neuter assistance to the residents of the town to try to reduce the overall pet overpopulation. We want every animal to have a place to call home.
